Scandal grows in Paris. Jean Paul Gaultier launches So Scandal, the 2020 version of Scandal, a young perfume that already aspires to be one of the icons of the French fashion house Gaultier. Let's discover this launch of perfumery.
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend the presentation of the new Jean Paul Gaultier, and here I bring you exclusively his presentation, and my opinion and review of Jean Paul Gaultier So Scandal.
Back in 2017, Jean Paul Gaultier launched a perfume that would be a real scandal. Scandal was a revolution with its launch in the world of high perfumery. With a brutal advertising and marketing campaign for a fun, modern and urban fragrance, it is not surprising that Scandal soon became one of the most successful perfumes for women in recent years.
The story behind this perfume is that of a scandal. This is the story of Madame La Ministre, Madam Minister, in French. By day, focused on the powerful and busy French political life. At night, a life that can only be classified as scandalous, especially for a woman in her position; Parties, glamour, sex, alcohol, corruption and freedom. The combination of a serious and orderly life facing the gallery and debauchery in the shade.
The Scandal fragrance also finds inspiration in the mythical Quartier Pigalle in Paris. A place that is a must in the French capital, where daily life is between cabarets as well as other sophisticated musical sensations, where the most striking and full of life women live their particular lifestyle, with an elegant and sophisticated touch, very closely related to the life that Jean Paul Gaultier poses with the Scandal perfume.
To launch this perfume, Jean Paul Gaultier spared no expense. Wallpapering Paris with posters announcing the scandal that was to come, using the image of kilometric legs and the Eiffel Tower, in a most suggestive and sensual position.
Scandal's television campaign will also be remembered. There wasn't an advertising break in which we didn't see the commercial on television. A real outlay on a par with the best perfume launches in recent history.
Its greatest feature is the long and slender legs of its tampon, which induce a sexy, feminine perfume inspired by Parisian neighborhoods.
With this deployment, it is not surprising that it was a complete success. For this reason, Jean Paul Gaultier has continued to exploit the saga, launching new editions based on it in consecutive years: Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal a Paris, Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal by night and Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Collector's Snow Globe Edition followed the original reaping also great sales successes.
In 2020, the JPG firm launches So Scandal, a new version of Scandal. With more floral notes thanks to orange blossom, tuberose and jasmine, together they form a floral explosion that makes this fragrance even more exotic and different. The distribution of your notes is:
