PROLONG THE AROMA OF YOUR PERFUME
Hello!
Surely many times you have wondered why your perfume does not last long or you think that you no longer smell, well this is because you get used to the smell or according to the type of skin of each one. In this post I will give you some tips to make your fragrance last longer, and last longer on your skin, but remember that not even the best perfumes last forever.
Here are my tips to make your perfume last as long as possible:
Do not bathe in perfume: When some time passes after the first application our nose gets used to the smell that does not mean that others cannot smell it, however if your fragrance is an Eau de toilette we can be more generous when it comes to apply it since its formula is lighter but never without overdoing it.
Places to apply the perfume: Surely you have ever wondered where to apply the perfume so that its duration is prolonged. Hands? Neck? Clothes? Hair? Well, in general, it is recommended to apply it in places of the body where the pulse beats, for example: ears, collarbone, wrists, behind the knees and even in the navel, if yes the navel (do not spray it directly first pour a few drops on fingers and pass it inside the navel and around) since these are places of the body where the temperature is higher and the perfume will take longer to evaporate.
Be careful with clothing: we all have the habit of spraying perfume directly on clothing, but we must be careful as some compositions of fragrances can stain it irreparably. We must make sure not to apply it directly to delicate clothes, especially if the perfume contains an oily base. A trick to make your clothes smell of your perfume without staining it, add a few drops to the iron to aromatize it and thus prevent stains from appearing.
Keep distance when spraying perfume on us: The vast majority of perfumes are better distributed if sprayed from a certain distance, for example if you are going to perfume your neck, tilt your head to the opposite side and keep the bottle about 10 centimeters from the skin and press the vaporizer, in this way your skin will be perfumed and the aroma will be distributed throughout the area.
Moisturize the skin: The aroma of the perfume stays longer on oily skin than on dry skin, for that reason I recommend moisturizing the skin very well after bathing to better maintain the aroma, the ideal is to use a moisturizer with the same fragrance , but if you don't have it, any moisturizing cream with a neutral aroma will come in handy, this way you will avoid dry skin where the perfume will evaporate quickly.
Perfumes do not last forever: if you have a perfume that you like very much and you only use it on special occasions, I advise you to enjoy it, because perfumes are not eternal and like any cosmetic product they degrade (approximately in 3 years), their components they deteriorate with light and temperature changes, keep them away from moisture and heat, store them in dry and dark places such as inside a box.
Touch up occasionally: normally a perfume lasts approximately 6 hours from the first application, from then on it begins to fade. If you want to prolong it, take a small vaporizer with you to touch up occasionally.
Environmental factors: the duration of a perfume is not the same in one person or another, since it varies by the PH of the skin, perspiration, diet, etc… However, there are external factors that we must avoid in order not to alter the smell of the perfume. One of them is the environments, for example where the heating is very strong it can make the perfume evaporate quickly, try to avoid it.
Do not mix fragrances: even if the perfume has begun to wear off, do not apply another fragrance without having showered, remove the remains of the first fragrance first. If you apply two, the odors are simultaneously altering its aroma.
I hope these tips help you. Kisses!
